The hot favourites for the event were the fast rising star in Jackie Paisley who had placed 4th a few months before in the 1989 Ms Olympia with Laura Creavalle in 6th place. But it was not to be for Jackie with Laura turning the tables for a stunning victory in the 1990 Ms International contest. Anja Schreiner from Germany was a very popular 3rd place winner.
