THE BICEP BOMBSHELL TONYA KNIGHT

Tonya Knight has become known the world over for her outstanding body, which some say is the most perfect specimen of the female form ever. She is a Miss International having won the women’s bodybuilding class at the Arnold Classic, and has also won the Italian Bodybuilding Grand Prix. She epitomized all that was best in women’s bodybuilding.

This DVD features her highly publicized 1991 Biceps Tour of the UK. Between press conferences and photo-calls, she talks about starting out, and the pros and cons of bodybuilding. We hear her views on drugs, men and diet. She also takes us through a typical day’s workout, analyses her training and culminates with her unique posing routine performed on the tour in London, Birmingham and Bristol.

1991 was the biggest year in Tonya’s career. She was an extraordinarily beautiful muscular woman. It goes with out saying that she was particularly famous for her wonderful biceps and great looks!

BRIEF BIO:

Phillip Jerrod Heath (nicknamed "The Gift") was born 18th December, 1979 and spent his early years in Seattle, Washington where he developed an affinity for basketball. Heath proved his natural athletic drive in high school playing varsity basketball which in turn secured a scholarship and highly coveted position as point/shooting guard for the Pioneer’s at the University of Denver. He attributes many of the lessons he learned in sportsmanship to the time he spent playing on the Division 1-A Men’s Basketball team during 1998-2002. Heath double majored in IT and Business Administration during his tenure at the University.

The allure of intense training and competition steered Phil Heath towards the field of bodybuilding. He changed his focus to this intensely competitive sport as he realized basketball hadn’t allowed him to fully define his place in life. Humble in his approach, yet stealth with strategy, he officially pursued bodybuilding with massive determination from October 2002 onwards.

Starting out at 185 lbs., he soon reached 215 lbs. with 6% body – a dramatic transformation. Ultimately, at a rock solid 192 lbs (considered a light-heavyweight by industry standards), Heath competed in his first competition in 2003 - The Rocky Mountain NPC (National Physique Committee) USA Championship “Northern” where he walked away with the overall title.

Suitably referred to as “The Gift” and in an effort to perfect his craft, he enrolled in a hardcore gym in 2003. His determination led to victory starting at the NPC Colorado State Show where he earned the distinction of Mr. Colorado – competing at 200lb. He went on to sign with Weider Health and Fitness for which he respectfully acknowledges former Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler and Peter McGough. Heath later competed for his pro-card at the USA’s at 215 lbs taking overall honors.

Today this IFBB Pro and 2011, 2012, 2013 Mr. Olympia title holder looks towards the future. Heath’s intention is to “represent the sport of bodybuilding in a way that many people can relate to while maintaining the respect the sport deserves.”

SERGIO OLIVA - The Myth 3 TIME MR. OLYMPIA - 1967, 1968 & 1969

The Key Contents:

1972 Outdoor filming: London

This historic footage was shot by Wayne on Wanstead Heath, in London, 2 days after the 1972 Mr Olympia where Sergio narrowly lost to Arnold in Essen, Germany. The action depicted in this sequence is said by many to be the greatest ever pumping and posing footage to be captured outdoors on film, showing a Mr Olympia title holder in top contest condition.

Sergio oiled up, pumped up with dumbells then posed his heart out for the camera, delivery a virtuoso posing rendition of his Mr Olympia posing routine. This was then topped off with bodypart posing in closeup. In particular the posing of Sergio's arms was awesome to behold, to put it mildly! Complete with the famous "Myth" arms up in the air pose.

While Wayne was busy filming, famous gym owner and long time friend Wag Bennett was snapping away getting photos to record this historic film shoot for posterity. You will see some of these photos in the DVD's Photo Gallery. Wag also shot the photo (coming soon below) of Wayne taking photos of Sergio with the big old Mamiya camera affectionately known as "The Tank"!

1977 Outdoor filming: Paris

Once again this footage was shot by Wayne, this time on the day after Sergio won the Pro Class of the 1977 WABBA World Championships. This classic men's contest was staged by Serge Nubret in Paris, where Sergio had guest posed at the Nubret's promoted Mr Olympia event 6 years earlier. Sergio's 1971 guest posing is included in this DVD on "The Myth".

The popular shooting formula was used again at pool-side with Sergio first of all oiling and pumping up before launching into his classic and once again winning posing routine. In this segment Sergio is assisted in his pumping up by Miss Olympus Lynde Johnson who willingly obliged by sitting on his back while he did pushups! At the end of the posing routine segment, Sergio again gave us some mind blowing closeup posing of various bodyparts for Wayne's super 8 film camera.

After the usual posing for photos, which again you can see in the Photo Gallery, the filming session was all over far too quickly as it became freezing cold at pool side! As far as we know, these were the only 2 professional outdoor film posing sessions ever shot with Sergio during his long career.

Sergio in the Gym: Chicago

We are indebted to Sergio and Frank Marchante, Sergio's biographer, for allowing us to use some highlights from the training video offered by Sergio in the mid 80s. It is now no longer available and is extremely rare footage.

My sincere thanks to all of the people who contributed footage and photos to make this a fitting tribute to SERGIO OLIVA, truly one of the greatest bodybuilders who ever lived. The Myth is now a reality and preserved for all to enjoy on DVD. All the many contributors are thanked in the end credits of the DVD.

The 1972 Sergio footage was previously part of my videos V-115 with Frank Zane. This Sergio footage is now the key part of the above DVD. Later this year the FRANK ZANE outdoor posing from video V-115 will become the key part of my History of Frank Zane DVD.

Mr. Olympia - The Golden Years: 1971, 1974, 1975, 1979

In this historic Olympia DVD presentation, we have gathered together our rare and mostly previously unseen Olympia segments that were shot on super 8 film in the Golden 70s. As each segment seemed too short to release at the time, nothing happened till we obtained the wonderful and fantastic quality 20 minute film from the 1979 Mr. Olympia. This shows Frank Zane in his all time best condition defeating Mike Mentzer to win the Overall 1979 Mr. Olympia crown in Columbus Ohio.

These are not complete Olympias but consists of the only known footage shot on film at these famous contests. All of the 3 1979 contests are exceptional quality.

1971 Olympia footage from Paris is short but extremely rare and does include the 2 guest posers Sergio and Franco.

In 1974 see the titanc battle between old rivals Arnold and Lou Ferrigno with Arnold coming out on top.

In 1975 in South Africa it was Arnold once again over Serge Nubret with Franco taking out the lighter class.Arnold retired after this contest.

1979 it was back in Columbus where Frank Zane took the overall title from Heavyweight Class winner Mike Mentzer. Cameraman Joel Fletcher concentrated in particular on Frank Zane in this contest. It is an absolute feast of posing for Zane fans and an ideal way to study the master posing style of Fank Zane - the master poser.

Some of this old film footage has had the colour deteriorate with time. However the bodies we show portray priceless images of our past great champions of the sport. This is a Legends of the Olympias of the 70s DVD. Shot on super 8 film and digitally transferred to DVD with copyright free music added.

The Battle for the OLYMPIA 1996

This is where the "Battle" legend all began! The camera follows some of the top pros as they train and prepare for the 1996 Mr Olympia showdown! Let the battle begin!

"The Battle for the Olympia" is the most well-known series of DVDs after the Mr. Olympia series. This is DVD #1 from 1996.

Here is a brief summary of the 1996 Mr. Olympia:

The winner Dorian Yates was as incredible as ever such that no one could touch him. However, Nasser looked awesome and massive, with his back much bigger, wider and better than last year. Many people thought Nasser should of been crowned #1. However it all ended in disaster for poor Nasser.

Probably the biggest surprise of the night was Shawn Ray's second place finish, over Nasser! Shawn looked incredible and the top five place finishers all looked great, and almost everyone said that this was the best Mr. Olympia ever. Judging by how close the results were, it was almost a case of anyone in the top 3 placings. Only later on did we learn that Nasser failed the diuretics drug test, and was disqualified (he was announced in 3rd place that evening).
A surprise in 9th place was the sensational Charles Clairmonte who was completely overlooked.

Mr. Universe OLIVER REINHARDT is the major amateur physique star in Germany and is on the verge of gaining pro status. He has been competing successfully since 1991 and in 2007 had a stellar year. His successes in 2007 included the following victories:

Paul Anderson - The Strongest Man in Recorded History

This is a fantastic story of one of America's greatest athletes and humanitarians.

After only three years of competitive lifting, Paul Anderson had become a national hero and world renowned as “THE STRONGEST MAN OF THE CENTURY”. In 1956 he traveled to Melbourne, Australia, were he won a gold medal in the Olympic Games. He was the last American heavyweight lifter to do so.

By 1957 he had established 18 American and 9 World Records, and in June of 1957 he lifted 6,270 pounds in a backlift: a feat most believe will never be equalled.

Many experts have described this modern-day Samson as the strongest man who has ever lived.

On February 29, 1992, in Orlando, Florida, at the first USA Power and Strength Symposium, Paul Anderson was recognized as THE STRONGEST MAN OF THE CENTURY.



Since the late ‘50s he has traveled thousands of miles each year sharing his message: love of God, Country, and the free-enterprise system. In 1961 he and his wife Glenda established the Paul Anderson Youth Home, which provides Christian rehabilitation for young men who would otherwise be sentenced to juvenile or adult penal institutions.

Paul E. Anderson brief bio

Born Oct. 17, 1932, Toccoa, GA
Died Aug. 15, 1994

Although his competitive career was very brief, Anderson may have been the best American weightlifter ever. He won the U. S. heavyweight championship in 1955 and 1956. After winning the world championship by a record margin of 82 pounds, he was strongly favored for the 1956 Olympic gold medal. He had a hard time winning it, which he did while he was recovering from strep throat.

Needing 187.5 kilograms in his third lift to match Humberto Selvetti of Argentina, Anderson failed twice but made the lift on his third and final try. He won the medal because he weighed thirteen pounds less than Selvetti.

Anderson went on to set many records as a professional powerlifter, including a bench press of 627 pounds, a squat of 1,200, and a dead lift of 820. On June 12, 1957, he lifted the greatest weight ever, 6,270 pounds in a back lift off trestles.
