This DVD is notable for the early appearance of a future international champion - double Mr. Universe winner VICTOR TERRA. The emerging young American champion VICTOR TERRA achieved his first major victory in USA. In 1988 Victor won the OVERALL AMATEUR NABBA UNIVERSE TITLE, please click here for PCB-089DVD. Held in Memphis, TN, this was one of the early shows that Wayne shot on video in USA. This is the most popular and important AAU Junior Nationals event of the year. See an outstanding posing display by the stars of the future, back in 1985. Many of them besides Victor Terra went on to some major achievements later in their careers. 1991 SABBA South Australian Bodybuilding Championships: The Show

It was a strong field with 41 competitors, with classes that included the popular Men's Teenage, Men's Junior, and Men's Novice. See BILL BRYSON become the new Overall Mr. South Australia Winner.

The Women's Figure Class provided the crowd with plenty of entertainment, with two of the State's most popular Figure contestants vying for the title! It was a tie, with a countback giving the 1st place to ANNA LEIGH, and second place to JANELLE McLEAN.

This press conference was held in the Show Room at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday, September 23rd 2010. The whole event was brilliantly presented by MC Bob Cicherillo who introduced each of the Mr. Olympia competitors, and then directed his own probing questions to many of them. 1990 NABBA Universe: The Women - Judging & Show

WOMEN'S FIGURE:

With a huge entry of 19 gorgeous FIGURE CLASS women from around the world, this single class proved to be a real nightmare for the judges. Each of the top five women received at least one first place vote! The more liberal minded attitude of NABBA ensured that the women could wear the posing costume of their choice, and no pose is banned during their posing routines.

Australian dynamo, BRONWYN O'BRIEN took first place honours, with HELEN MADDERSON and JANNETTE HALSTEAD both of U.K., second and third respectively. We include interviews with both Bronwyn O'Brien and Helen Madderson in this DVD.

In 1990, all women were judged in a single height class, both for FIGURE and for PHYSIQUE.

WOMEN'S PHYSIQUE:

This has to have been one of the most awesome physique classes seen at the NABBA Universe for many a long year. Thirteen incredible physiques, all carrying densely packed muscle mass, combined with proportion, symmetry, size and hard condition. Absolutely stunning! Look for the amazingly muscular ELKE POTER of Holland (6th place); the ultra-ripped KARIN HABISREUTHER of Germany (5th place); the lovely shape, symmetry and muscular condition of DEBORAH COMPTON from Australia (4th place); and the fantastic arms on England's vivacious and beautiful BERNIE PRICE (3rd place).

Then hold your breath for the 1st and 2nd place getters! A battle of epic proportions took place between MONIKA DEBATIN of Germany and CHRISTIANA DEL BUONO of Italy. Debatin showed extraordinary muscular development and deep thigh separation. Del Buono, on the other hand, had excellent quads, with shredded pecs and back, plus huge delts. But Debatin's brilliant overall condition and V-shape which she presented exceptionally well to the near capacity audience captured her first place.

Here again, the women wore the posing costumes of their own choice, and they flexed their hearts outthe appreciative audience! We present over 95 minutes of broadcast quality video, now on DVD, of the 1990 NABBA Universe Women. You'll experience the posedowns and presentations from a front row seat as if you were there!

Mr. Olympia – The Golden Years: 1971, 1974, 1975, 1979

In this historic Olympia DVD presentation, we have gathered together our rare and mostly previously unseen Olympia segments that were shot on super 8 film in the Golden 70s. As each segment seemed too short to release at the time, nothing happened till we obtained the wonderful and fantastic quality 20 minute film from the 1979 Mr. Olympia. This shows Frank Zane in his all time best condition defeating Mike Mentzer to win the Overall 1979 Mr. Olympia crown in Columbus Ohio.

These are not complete Olympias but consists of the only known footage shot on film at these famous contests. All of the 3 1979 contests are exceptional quality.

1971 Olympia footage from Paris is short but extremely rare and does include the 2 guest posers Sergio and Franco.
In 1974 see the titanc battle between old rivals Arnold and Lou Ferrigno with Arnold coming out on top.

In 1975 in South Africa it was Arnold once again over Serge Nubret with Franco taking out the lighter class.Arnold retired after this contest.

1979 it was back in Columbus where Frank Zane took the overall title from Heavyweight Class winner Mike Mentzer. Cameraman Joel Fletcher concentrated in particular on Frank Zane in this contest. It is an absolute feast of posing for Zane fans and an ideal way to study the master posing style of Fank Zane - the master poser.

Some of this old film footage has had the colour deteriorate with time. However the bodies we show portray priceless images of our past great champions of the sport. This is a Legends of the Olympias of the 70s DVD. Shot on super 8 film and digitally transferred to DVD with copyright free music added.
