1986 NABBA Universe Women - Prejudging and Show
Figure and Physique Classes. Historic DVD - first ever Universe Figure Class.

At the 38th NABBA Universe Contest, staged in London, the best women bodybuilders from around the world competed for top honours. Each year the women get more massive and symmetrical, and this year the best were mind blowing! This was the first year the new Figure Class had been introduced.

This version produced by Ron Pugh starts off with the prejudging lineup and then the prejudging posing routines.

The lady who steals the show in the Physique Section is the awe-inspiring champion from Germany, Monika Steiner. Monika performs a dynamic routine which shows her muscular physique and huge legs to excellent advantage. She edged out Aussie champion Irene Nickole.

Controversial Australian, Joy Dobson, caused a minor sensation with her huge shoulders, and her sock-it-to-‘em routine had the crowd in a frenzy. Heidi Thomas was the first ever Figure Class Miss Universe in narrowly beating Universe superstar Mary Scott. This is a classic women's DVD from the world's oldest competition for men and women.

2007 Sacramento Women's Pro Bodybuilding and NPC Steel Rose Figure Championships

Due to Arnold's long connection with bodybuilding and now Sacramento it seemed appropriate for this Northern California Pro Women's Bodybuilding and NPC Figure contest to be staged in Sacramento.

Held in the wonderful art deco Crest Theatre, it was soon evident at the Prejudging that HEATHER POLICKY, KIM PEREZ, ANTOINETTE NORMAN and CATHY LEFRANCOISE would be the Pro women to beat. From there on down the field which was split into Lightweight and Heavyweight was very even.

In the NPC Steel Rose Figure Championship, witness the incredible battle between class winners TRACI HALL, JENNIFER LOWE CURRIN, KELLEY GREEN who took OVERALL and LORIE MAHONEY.

1982 Mr Olympia - THE BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS

This historic DVD is a completely different version than any previously offered. It is the hardcore bodybuilding version of the '82 Olympia, now on DVD.

This exciting video covering the greatest physiques in the world, brings you all the drama, blood, sweat and tension of Chris Dickerson's epic victory in the 1982 Mr Olympia contest held in London. Shot on Super 8 sound film.

Although all 16 men are shown, this video concentrates on the top eight champions as they do battle through each of the three rounds of judging and on to the evening show and final presentation.

We take a different view point being that of combat by comparison, showing you the all important side by side judging comparisons and pose downs between these top men as they strive for victory. You can judge and compare your placings of the top men with the opinions of the official judges, and the comments you will hear from the audience.

However, anything can happen during the free posing round and the atmosphere was electric. Highlights for me included the immaculate and totally professional stage presentations of Chris Dickerson and Mohamed Makkawy, the best ever condition, shape and proportion of Samir, the massive and rock hard muscle of Viator, and the sheer size of Bertil Fox.

Tom Platz was huge and in fact the biggest I have ever seen him, and no professional boby builder has more stage charisma than Tom who it seems is a probable winner in the future. His massive legs are still years ahead of those to be found supporting any other body builder. For Tom's many fans, this video has all the Platz footage, both judging and final.

For Zane's fans he had a completely new routine which included his own unique poses he has made famous such as the vacuum and hands over head poses. He almost stole the title from Dickerson and in many people's eyes was a winner.

Al Beckles went into this contest as one of the hot favourites and he too looked absolutely fantastic, as did Lance Dreher. Dreher had probably the biggest arms, in the famous Larry Scott posing style.

However, there can only be one winner, and CHRIS DICKERSON was a well deserving and popular winner in this his final contest. Chris was superb in all areas - symmetry, cuts, presentation, charisma, condition and muscle density. He had it all together on the day in a totally professional manner that showed class, experience and attention to fine detail. A fitting triumph to climax the competitive career of on the the world's greatest body builders. In his victory speech Chris thanked the great Bill Pearl for all the assistance he had given him.

There was a terrific battle between AARON BAKER and LEE PRIEST for 2nd place. Also includes introduction of competitors and some prejudging footage.

I was a big fan of this DVD! I would have to say that it was probably my favourite of the three DVDs produced by MuscleTime. If all of them maintain the same quality, they will have a good future ahead of them in terms of producing DVDs. Victor also has a great personality and is very good in front of the camera. If you are a fan of bodybuilding videos or Victor Martinez, this DVD is definitely one for you!

1986 IFBB SWISS Bodybuilding Championships

This event was won by 5 times Swiss champion Francois Gay. Francois is also Natural Mister Universe (Overall Winner), and Natural Mr Olympia (Masters).

He has been a WNBF Pro since 1992, and is currently President of the SNBF (Swiss Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation)

Big Sean Allan: Superhuman Bodybuilding
